Terms & Conditions

Welcome to KEO uPVC Ltd. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before proceeding.

1. Quotations and Contract Formation

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • A formal contract or service agreement will be provided detailing the scope of work, pricing, timeline, and any specific conditions.
  • Work will commence only after the contract is signed by both parties and any required deposit is received.

2. Payment Terms

  • A deposit (typically 20-30%) is required before work starts, as outlined in your quotation.
  • The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the project unless alternative payment terms are agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, debit/credit card, and cash (where applicable).
  • Late payments may incur interest or additional fees as specified in the contract.
  • Failure to make payment on time may result in suspension of work or legal recovery action.

3. Scheduling and Project Timelines

  • We will provide an estimated start date and expected completion time but these are subject to change due to unforeseen factors such as weather, supply chain delays, or access issues.
  • Any significant changes to scheduling will be communicated promptly.
  • Customers must ensure clear access to the property and site during agreed working hours.
  • Delays caused by the customer, including restricted access or changes to the project scope, may affect timelines and pricing.

4. Workmanship and Warranty

  • KEO uPVC Ltd guarantees all workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of completion.
  • Manufacturer warranties on supplied products apply separately and will be passed on to the customer.
  • This guarantee excludes damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or modifications by third parties.
  • Any defects reported within the guarantee period will be remedied promptly at no cost, provided normal use and maintenance conditions are met.

5. Changes, Variations, and Cancellation

  • Requests for changes to the original scope of work must be made in writing and may result in additional charges and altered timelines.
  • Cancellation of work after acceptance of the contract may incur fees, particularly if materials have been ordered or work has commenced.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to unforeseen circumstances, providing as much notice as possible to the customer.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • KEO uPVC Ltd holds comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
  • We are not liable for delays or damages caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to adverse weather, acts of third parties, or supplier delays.
  • Customers are responsible for securing any necessary permissions or approvals for work to be carried out on their property.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Personal data collected during quote requests or project execution will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We only use personal information for communication, service delivery, and legal compliance.
  • We do not share personal data with third parties except as necessary for contract fulfilment or legal obligations.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • We aim to resolve disputes amicably and encourage customers to contact us promptly with any concerns.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, parties may agree to mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
  • Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
